Excess Ostomy Supplies

From time to time when ostomates change appliance manufacturers, style or size they may have unused
supplies left over.

Sometimes, unfortunately, a death occurs and the family wonders what to do with
unused ostomy supplies.

At the Calgary Ostomy Society AGM in June 2006, chapter members voted
unanimously to continue to donate excess supplies to Edie Attrell who takes them to local people in
need: homeless and marginalized ostomates.

If there are still surplus supplies she ships them
internationally, via Friends of Ostomates Worldwide Canada (FOWC)
Boxes may be delivered to Calgary Health Region Home Care, 5920 McLeod Trail SE, Suite 400, for the
attention of Edie Attrell, or brought to any chapter meeting.
